JAKARTA - Indonesia is set to become a battleground for e-payment business in South-east Asia after Facebook and PayPal recently acquired stakes in Jakarta-based Gojek, a ride-hailing firm which arguably owns the country's largest digital payment company Gopay.
These United States giants may soon compete with Gojek's strongest rival, SoftBank-backed OVO, an affiliate of Grab.
