INDONESIA (AFP) - Mount Sinabung volcano, located on Indonesia's Sumatra island, remains active after a powerful eruption in February 2014 that displaced 3,500 residents.

More than 10,000 people were evacuated from their homes this month after an increase in the activity of the volcano, highlighting the precarious existence for many in the country with the largest number of volcanoes in the world.
