A 53-year-old man fell to his death from a bridge after a cow suddenly kicked his motorcycle near a farm in Selangor, Malaysia.

On July 5, farm workers found the severely injured man in a river near the farm in Kerling, Hulu Selangor, which is in the north-eastern part of the state of Selangor.

“The workers then rescued the man and attempted CPR,” Hulu Selangor’s officer-in-charge of the police district, Superintendent Ibrahim Husin, said in a statement on July 7.

“A medical officer at the scene found that the victim’s pulse was low, and he was rushed to Hospital Kuala Kubu Bharu,” he said.

“Despite efforts to resuscitate him, the victim died en route.”

The victim was a supervisor at a Sungai Gali farm.

CCTV footage showed the cow moving towards the man as he was riding a motorcycle on the bridge, before kicking the vehicle, according to Supt Ibrahim.

An autopsy found that the cause of the man’s death was severe traumatic brain injury due to a fall from height, Supt Ibrahim added.

“The case has been classified as a sudden death report,” he said. THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK
