MANILA - Finally, it is all coming to an end - a presidency that promised so much, yet delivered so little.

Mr Rodrigo Duterte, 77, is in the last days of his presidency in the Philippines. Just like in his inaugural year, he remains popular. His approval and performance ratings were at over 70 per cent at the end of 2021, higher than any other president in his or her last year in office.
