BALI – Bali Governor I Wayan Koster has announced plans to issue a regional regulation prohibiting the conversion of productive agricultural land into commercial developments, following severe flooding on the holiday island that claimed more than a dozen lives.
Mr Koster said that once emergency response and flood mitigation efforts were completed, regents and mayors across Bali would soon convene to draft the regulation.
