PHUKET - With travel restrictions lifted in Thailand, foreigners who want to live out their golden years surrounded by tropical greenery and sunny beaches, or who need quality assisted living, are returning to the country.

Provinces such as Chiang Mai and Phuket have long been the favourite destinations of expat retirees, but their move was disrupted due to the pandemic.
