IPOH – Three people were injured after an express bus they were in crashed along Jalan Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands in Malaysia.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the driver sustained a broken leg, while two passengers had minor injuries during the incident on March 15 at about 5.30am.
The rescue operation lasted until 6.41am, according to Lianhe Zaobao.
“The bus, which was carrying 23 Singaporean passengers, skidded and crashed by the roadside in Pos Slim, early this morning.
“The driver was rescued by members of the public,” he added in a statement on March 15.
“All three victims were handed over to Health Ministry personnel for further action,” he noted.
