Some 1,000 people were trapped for hours in a shopping mall in Thailand's Nakhon Ratchasima province when a gunman went on a shooting rampage late on Saturday. Survivors recounted how they hid from the gunman, and used their smartphones to get updates on the situation in the mall.

The first day of work after the coronavirus outbreak response was raised to code orange saw long queues outside some office buildings in places such as Raffles Place, where people had to have their temperatures taken as part of tighter screening and enhanced precautions.
