HADONG – Lush green rows of waist-high tea bushes on 45-degree slopes are a breathtaking sight in Hadong, in the southern part of South Korea.
While such terrain provides good drainage and is conducive to the flourishing of green tea bushes, it is a tricky trek for ageing tea pickers, mostly in their 70s.
