BEIJING - In recent weeks, Chinese nationals have made the news overseas for their reaction to real or perceived slights against their compatriots – one on board a Cathay Pacific flight over a blanket request, and another at Changi Airport involving purportedly bad customer service.
They highlight an apparently growing trend: As China grows in might on the international stage, its people are becoming more vocal about how others view or treat them.
