TOKYO - Three US military helicopters made emergency landings on Oct 16 afternoon at a commercial airport in western Japan, the Japanese Defence Ministry said.
One of the helicopters appeared to have engine problems, according to the local authorities. The helicopters landed at around 2.25pm local time at Takamatsu Airport in Kagawa Prefecture and departed around two hours later.
