BEIJING - United States climate envoy John Kerry left the northern Chinese city of Tianjin last week with little to show, after talks between the two sides ended without a joint statement.
Instead, politics and bilateral tensions between Beijing and Washington overshadowed climate negotiations between the world's top two polluters, leaving analysts concerned that with just weeks to go before a United Nations climate summit, sour US-China ties could spill over and affect global efforts to achieve consensus to limit emissions.
