BEIJING - China is stepping up scrutiny of children's programmes, a move that could have turned Ultraman Tiga from popular superhero to zero.

Viewers in the country can no longer access the show on streaming platforms such as iQiyi, Youku and Tencent Video, and no official reason has been provided, according to local media reports on Friday (Sept 24).
