HANOI - North Korea could be the next Vietnam - a foe turned friend of the United States that is now prospering after their ties were normalised.

Analysts said that's the message that US President Donald Trump tried to drive home to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Wednesday (Feb 27), just hours before their scheduled dinner meeting.
