SEOUL - South Korea hopes to attract 30 million foreign visitors a year by the end of 2027, mainly by expanding efforts to woo tourists from South-east Asia. 

China used to be South Korea’s biggest source of tourists, but its borders remain closed as Covid-19 restrictions prevent people from travelling abroad.
