TAIPEI – A “little Taiwan” electronics cluster is growing in and around the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi.

With a number of major Taiwanese contract manufacturers inking deals in recent months to build or expand their factories in northern Vietnam, the area is set to be a new production hub for ubiquitous consumer products such as Apple’s iPads and AirPods.
