SINGAPORE - Being South Korea's first female foreign minister brings with it a lot of expectations and a lot more responsibility in meeting those expectations, says Dr Kang Kyung-wha.

"I think that brings a lot of expectations. So I have a great deal of public support inspired by this leadership position that a woman has taken on, but that also means a lot more responsibility in meeting those expectations," she told The Straits Times in an interview on Wednesday (Aug 1).
