China's Little Pinks slam pro-Taiwan posts on social media during Olympics

BEIJING/TAIPEI - Cyber warriors in China - known as Little Pinks - were especially active during the Tokyo Olympics, keeping a close eye on social media platforms for anything that remotely hinted at support for Taiwan's independence.

Some of the staunch cyber nationalists even scaled the "Great Firewall" to police what was being posted on platforms banned in mainland China, such as Instagram.
