SEOUL - Nestled in a quiet residential area in central Seoul is a modern fusion restaurant called Shiok, selling upscale versions of Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, kaya toast and more, all inspired by the Korean owner's love of Singapore food.
Mr Lee Jeong-woo has such fond memories of how much he loved chicken rice while living in Singapore six years ago that he was determined to bring the dish back home.
