Beijing government steps in to bail out troubled Singaporean-run school in Beijing

BEIJING - Education commission officials have taken over the ailing Beijing BISS International School, and begun to pay its teachers their overdue salaries.

Some teachers had their wages credited into their accounts on Saturday (Sept 29), a day after BISS head of school Randal Eplin met education commission officials from the Beijing municipal government and Chaoyang district, where the school is located.
