Glenmorangie Astar

"Astar" in Scottish Gaelic means journey, which reflects the journey of the designer casks used to mature the whisky. The casks are made from slow-growth American white oak sourced from the Ozark Mountains in Missouri.

On the nose, the Glenmorangie Astar is sweet and fruity with floral notes. It tastes of creme brulee, and tropical and stone fruits such as apricot, with a hint of mint.

Big Peat

ST Wine price: $118 (Usual price $138)

This is a blend of malt whiskies from the island of Islay - Caol Ila, Bowmore, Ardbeg and Port Ellen. Fresh, salty and clean on the nose, the aroma develops to malted barley dried over peat. On the palate, you will detect ash, sweet tar, beaches and smoking chimneys.
