Celebrating Singapore comedians Wang Sha and Ye Feng’s legacy in film

For the first time in Singapore, a retrospective on comedians Wang Sha and Ye Feng will be showcased by the Asian Film Archive with an accompanying exhibition from 12 January to 7 April 2024 at the Oldham Theatre.
Wang Sha (1925 – 1998) and Ye Feng (1932 – 1995) graced the stages of amusement parks and beamed from the television screens between the 1960s to the early 1990s. Adored and celebrated by audiences across Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan, this dynamic duo enjoyed a versatile and illustrious career, leaving an indelible mark in music, theatre, and over 40 feature films.
