LONDON (REUTERS) - An earthquake of 6.7 magnitude was detected in the Mediterranean Sea 80km west of Chania on the Greek island of Crete at 1311 GMT (9.11pm Singapore time) on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said.

The centre of the quake was 15km below the seabed, the organisation said.
