The new q-Jays are the world's smallest earphones with interchangeable cables, according to their Swedish audio equipment maker, Jays.

Only 2cm long, the stainless steel-clad earbuds come with 1.2m-long interchangeable Kevlar cables. Though tiny, the earbuds sill manage to be fitted with Jays' custom dual-balanced armature drivers, each consisting of a dedicated woofer with a mid-range/tweeter driver.

The drivers are said to deliver sound with incredible clarity while tailor-made acoustic filters allow audio quality that conveys clean and smooth highs with sharp details.


HP Pavilion x2

The latest-generation HP Pavilion x2 has a latchless magnetic connector that allows the keyboard to be detached easily, so you can use it as a regular laptop or as a 10-inch tablet.

Like Apple's new 12-inch MacBook, the Pavilion x2 uses a USB-C port for charging. But it still has a USB 2.0 port for data transfer and a micro-HDMI port for connection to an external display.

As a tablet, the Pavilion x2 is just 9.65mm thick and weighs just 590g. With the keyboard attached, it is 16.75mm thick and tips the scales at 1,120g. It is available in white or red.

So you can't decide if you should go for the iOS-only Apple Watch or one of the Android-only Android Wear smartwatches such as the Motorola Moto 360? There is a third way, the Alcatel OneTouch Watch.

Compatible with both Android (4.3 and above) and iOS (7 and above) systems, OneTouch sports a round face with a 1.22-inch colour display of 240 x 204 pixels.

When paired with the smartphone, it will display notifications, from e-mail to social media updates. You can use it to control your music or take pictures. It can also track your sleep, distances covered, steps taken and calories burnt.
