SINGAPORE - Several roads along the Padang and Esplanade Drive will be closed on Saturday to facilitate the National Day Parade (NDP) rehearsal at the Padang.

Roads such as Coleman Street and Fullerton Street will be closed for the entire day from 2am to 11.59pm, while other roads such as Beach Road and Esplanade Drive will be closed for half a day, from 12pm to 11pm.

Directional signs will be displayed to inform motorists of the diversion. Traffic controllers will also be stationed at key junctions to direct traffic.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow the directional signs and instructions from the traffic controllers.

Traffic delays are expected along Raffles Boulevard, Raffles Avenue, Bayfront Avenue, Republic Avenue, Bras Basah Road, Beach Road, North Bridge Road, Hill Street, Guillemard Road, Mountbatten Road, Old Airport Road, Stadium Walk and Stadium Way.

Motorists are advised to plan their route early and avoid these areas.
