Trains on the North-South Line were disrupted for at least 10 minutes on Wednesday morning due to a track fault.

A tweet at 7.25am from train operator SMRT asked passengers to make allowances for more travelling time from Raffles Place to Marina Bay.

Service resumed 10 minutes later although the operator warned of longer travelling times between Bishan to Marina Bay, and that trains would be crowded due to the backlog of passengers.

SMRT said it would release more details at a later time.
