Navy serviceman Jason Chee demonstrated true grit as he stormed to victory in a table-tennis competition on Saturday.

Despite losing both legs and his left arm in a ship accident last year, he took home two gold medals and one bronze.

With just two fingers on his right hand, the 30-year-old beat one of his opponents in 15 minutes, winning three out of four sets at the 8th National Disability League Table Tennis Tournament.

Organised by the Singapore Disability Sports Council and the Table Tennis Association for the Disabled, the event was held at the Tampines West Community Club.

Military Expert 2 Chee hopes to represent Singapore in the Asean Para Games next year and the 2016 Paralympics in Brazil.
