More is being done to integrate children with learning needs into pre-schools, including setting up a Ministry of Social and Family Development workgroup. Made up of representatives from community groups, voluntary welfare organisations and the government, academic and private sectors, it will look at ways to better support those with developmental needs. Also, early intervention programmes will be transferred to the Early Childhood Development Agency from July.
