A Singaporean senior citizen, who is a permanent resident (PR) in New Zealand, has lost his bid to stop the pension he gets there from being reduced because of the monthly payout he receives from Singapore's Central Provident Fund (CPF).

A three-member tribunal in Wellington has dismissed the case even before it could get a full hearing because Mr Tan Kong Hwee had refused to submit the required CPF documents the tribunal had asked for.
