A man punched and dented more than 10 cars in a Serangoon North carpark yesterday, before turning his ire on four motorcycles.

In front of stunned eyewitnesses, the bespectacled vandal kicked over the vehicles before walking off towards the nearest bus stop.

The incident happened at around 9am at Block 139 in Serangoon North Avenue 2.

An eyewitness, who declined to be named, told Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily News that he saw a man in a red shirt pounding on the bonnets of vehicles with his fists. He appeared to be bleeding.

The man also reportedly stood at the entrance to the HDB carpark, blocking other vehicles from turning in.

Shin Min spoke to designer Liu Jinxing, 48, who said the man's outburst lasted about 15 minutes.

At least two motorists arrived to inspect their vehicles shortly after the man left.

Police told The Sunday Times that they were alerted to a case of vandalism in the area at about 9.30am and are investigating.
