A woman has been found dead in a Tampines flat and police have classified the case as murder. Police received a call for assistance at Blk 503 Tampines Central 1 at about 11.43pm on Dec 16, according to a press release.

Upon police's arrival, the body of a woman was found lying motionless in a unit of the block. The woman was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene at about 12.10am.

A 37-year-old man was subsequently arrested in connection to the case. Police have classified the case as murder and investigations are ongoing.
