SINGAPORE -The High Court in July awarded some $1.14 million in damages to the family of a man killed in a road accident in a civil suit that centred on the victim's projected increase in income and whether the court should increase the number of years of the projected future loss of income.

The victim, Mr Puthalvan Vadiveloo, died in November 2015 after his motorcycle collided with a bus in Tuas West Road.
