Chung Cheng High School family celebrates 74 years

The Chung Cheng High School family marked its 74th anniversary on Saturday with a mobile application that allows students to trace the school's history. The app lets them see images of the past school campus overlaid on the current buildings, and listen to interviews with alumni members.

Education Minister Heng Swee Keat, who launched the application at the school's anniversary celebrations, said that digitising the school's past is "a big step forward in the school's commitment to preserve its history and traditions, consolidate its identity and build a strong sense of school pride".

Mr Heng also officially opened the school's new buildings, which were completed last year. The Na Yun Building houses the new indoor sports hall, and the Hao Ran Building contains a renovated multi-purpose hall and canteen. Other improved facilities include air-conditioned classrooms and walkways.
