Foreign Bank of America Merrill Lynch banker linked to Hong Kong murders: Source
A Bank of America Merrill Lynch employee was arrested in Hong Kong on Saturday in connection with the suspected murder of two women in the city's central Wan Chai district, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told Reuters.
According to a statement posted on the Hong Kong government website, police arrested a foreign man on Saturday after finding two women dead in an apartment in Wan Chai, an area known for its lively nightlife. The man has not been charged.
In response to queries, the Foreign Office in London said that a British national had been arrested in Hong Kong, without specifying the nature of the crime.

Virgin's Richard Branson says space dream lives on, vows safety is paramount
British tycoon Richard Branson insisted that his dream of commercial space travel remained alive but warned his company would not "press on blindly" without knowing what caused a spacecraft crash on Friday that killed one pilot and seriously injured another.
Speaking to reporters after arriving in the California facility which had been the hub of Virgin Galactic's ambitious space programme, Branson said safety remained his paramount concern.
"We owe it to our test pilots to find out exactly what went wrong, and once we've found out what went wrong, if we can overcome it, we'll make absolutely certain that the dream lives on," Branson told reporters.

Power partly restored in Bangladesh after nationwide blackout
Power was restored in most parts of Bangladesh late on Saturday, some 12 hours after a massive nationwide electricity blackout hit the country, plunging Dhaka and other cities into total darkness.
Authorities said local engineers managed to fix plants supplying 3,600 megawatts of power - covering some 70 per cent of clients - by 11.30pm Bangladesh time (1.30am Singapore time).
Loud cheers could be heard in Dhaka late on Saturday as the lights came back on phase by phase in large parts of the capital, after thousands of residents spent hours outdoors or on their roofs. The city of 15 million people had looked like a ghost town as dusk descended, with homes, businesses and shops plunged into darkness.

Ebola-free Texas nurse Nina Pham, pet dog reunited after long quarantine
The Dallas nurse treated for Ebola had an emotional reunion on Saturday with her "best friend", a King Charles Spaniel, after the pet spent the last three weeks in quarantine being monitored for the deadly virus.
The dog named Bentley showered Nina Pham with licks at a handover ceremony near the Dallas shelter where he had been kept in isolation and cared for by kennel workers in protective suits.
Pham, 26, became the first person in the United States to be infected with Ebola after treating an infected man. She was released from a National Institutes of Health hospital in Maryland on Oct 24 after being declared free of the virus.

Formula One: Nico Rosberg on pole for US Grand Prix
Germany's Nico Rosberg put Mercedes on pole position for the US Formula One Grand Prix on Saturday with championship leading team mate Lewis Hamilton qualifying second.
Mercedes-powered Williams filled the second row with Finland's Valtteri Bottas third fastest and Brazilian Felipe Massa fourth.
Hamilton leads Rosberg by 17 points with three races, and 100 points remaining. The Briton has won the last four grand prix and is chasing his 10th victory of the season.
