SIX SENSES RESORT IN FIJI

Resort and spa chain Six Senses has announced plans for a new resort in Fiji that is scheduled to open late next year. The resort will be on Malolo Island - a 30-minute boat ride from Denarau Marina, a 30-minute helicopter flight or 20-minute seaplane flight from Nadi International Airport.

Situated along 650m of private beach, it will have 24 pool villas ranging from 74 to 180 sq m and 66 residential villas on the west side of the island which offer panoramic sea or marina views. A full-service marina, adjacent to the resort, will be available for private yachts.

Activities includesailing, diving, snorkelling and tennis. The resort will also house a gym, a Six Senses Spaand a tasting table serving food made with produce from the resort garden, local farmers and fishermen.

In keeping with the brand's sustainable ethos, the resort will be 100 per cent solar-powered and use LED lights. An on-site tree reforestation project will offset the wood used in construction.
