Foodies, get ready for a slew of dining treats that roll out from next month at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), specially for subscribers of The Straits Times (ST) via the SPH Rewards app.

The first giveaway is perfect for celebrating Father's Day on June 16, with an eight-course German Spring/ Summer menu at RWS' Curate restaurant. Six lucky ST subscribers will each win a dinner for four people, valued at $188++ a person.

The dinner - by Curate's chef de cuisine Benjamin Halat - is hosted by ST food critic Wong Ah Yoke.

To win, subscribers have to first download the SPH Rewards app, look for this giveaway in the "Rewards" section, save the deal to their e-wallet, press the "Go to Website" button on the "Details" page and answer the following question: Why does my dad deserve the best?

The contest, which opens today, closes on June 8.

In the coming months, readers can also look forward to more treats at other restaurants at the integrated resort. These include dinners at Italian restaurant Fratelli; Chinese restaurant Forest; Sessions, a multi-concept dining destination with a restaurant, patisserie and cooking studio; and one-Michelin-starred Osia Steak and Seafood Grill.

These delicious giveaways are part of the ST+ loyalty programme, which rewards direct subscribers of The Straits Times.

  • FATHER'S DAY DINNER TREAT AT CURATE

    What: Celebrate Father's Day with Curate's eight-course German Spring/Summer menu by chef de cuisine Benjamin Halat.

    The dinner, hosted by The Straits Times food critic Wong Ah Yoke, kicks off with an array of snacks at 6.30pm.

    This is followed by main courses, including trout confit in pine needle butter topped with crushed almonds and crispy trout skin; Atlantic cod with onion omelette and apple ragout with bacon and mashed potatoes; and Wylarah wagyu beef sirloin from Australia with potato gnocchi, black truffle and beef jus.

    End the meal with two desserts - sea buckthorn berry sorbet mixed with diced cucumber, lemon verbena and German gin; and strawberry tart with sour cream, chef Halat's grandmother's recipe.

  • FRATELLI

    What: Meet Italian restaurant Fratelli's celebrity chefs Roberto and Enrico Cerea, from three-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio in Bergamo, Italy, and dine on a six-course dinner.

    The brothers, both chefs, will be whipping up the meal with Fratelli's chef de cuisine Davide Bizzarri.

    Diners will be treated to new dishes such as grilled langoustine tail with red radish espuma, herbs and salmon roe; carnaroli risotto with taleggio cheese, purple potato espuma, and baby spinach; and pan-seared sea bass with cardamom-scented green pea puree, baby vegetables, and crispy free-range egg yolk.

    Signature dishes such as burrata with Mazara del Vallo red prawn; and Da Vittorio's heirloom recipe of paccheri pasta with special tomato sauce prepared at table-side, will also be served.

    Ten ST subscribers will each win a dinner for two people, valued at $188++ a person. When: July 6, 6.30pm

  • FOREST

    What: It is set to be a family affair at this contemporary Chinese fine cuisine restaurant, where diners will meet local celebrity chef Sam Leong, his wife Forest and their son Joe.

    Chef Leong's mother will also attend the five-course dinner, which highlights the Leong family's food legacy.

    Ten ST subscribers will each win a dinner for two people, valued at $138++ a person. When: Early October, more details to come.

  • SESSIONS

    What: Tuck into signature crab creations by veteran chef Kelvin Lim, followed by decadent desserts by pastry chef Kenny Kong. Ten ST subscribers will each win a dinner for two people.
    When: November, more details to come.

  • OSIA STEAK AND SEAFOOD GRILL

    What: Indulge in a five-course festive dinner at the one-Michelin-starred Osia Steak and Seafood Grill. The restaurant is helmed by Australian celebrity chef Scott Webster and chef de cuisine Douglas Tay. Ten ST subscribers will each win a dinner for two people.
