LOS ANGELES - How much of our destiny is in our genes? This was the question that compelled director Derek Cianfrance and actor Mark Ruffalo to make I Know This Much Is True, a drama about identical twins with vastly divergent fates.

Debuting on Monday (May 11) on HBO Go and HBO ( Starhub TV Channel 601 and Singtel TV Channel 420), the miniseries based on the 1998 Wally Lamb novel of the same name has The Avengers (2012) star Ruffalo playing both twins in a performance many expect to win some awards.
