Lamborghini to rev up nightlife scene here with a new club this year

A Tonino Lamborghini Club, part of a high-end nightclub franchise related to the supercar brand, will open here this year.

Tonino Lamborghini is named after the son of the late Italian industrialist Ferruccio Lamborghini, the creator of luxury car brand Lamborghini. His namesake lifestyle brand has portfolios in hospitality, apparel and the food and beverage lines.

The Tonino Lamborghini food and beverage line includes coffee, tea, wines, vodka, energy drinks and chocolates.

Starting this year, its nightlife franchise will open nine clubs in several cities in Asia-Pacific, including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru and Melbourne.

A Tonino Lamborghini Lounge, a two-storey cafe, restaurant and lounge, is already open in Bangkok, Thailand in the trendy Ekkamai district. There is also an existing Tonino Lamborghini apparel and accessories store at Marina Bay Sands Shoppes.

The upcoming clubs in Asia-Pacific will be managed and operated by Singapore-based Pixie Entertainment Group (PEG), a wholly owned subsidiary of lifestyle brand Pixie Group Limited (PGL).

PEG describes the Tonino Lamborghini club as a "luxe clubbing and retail concept that caters to a discerning and well-heeled clientele".

The company plans to open the club in Singapore by the end of this year. Its location hasnot been revealed.

One of Pixie's partners is a co-owner of The Neverland Group, which runs Asian-fusion live entertainment clubs in Singapore and Malaysia, including the now defunct Neverland Orchard Plaza and Neverland II at St James.
