•LOS ANGELES• Hollywood stars Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have welcomed a second daughter, after once again keeping the pregnancy under wraps, TMZ.com reported.

Mendes, who began dating Gosling in 2011, gave birth to Amada on April 29 in Santa Monica, near Los Angeles, the entertainment news site said.

Representatives for the 42-year- old American actress and the 35-year-old Canadian actor-director did not immediately confirm the report.

The stars' other daughter, Esmeralda, is 20 months old.

For both pregnancies, Mendes chose to appear rarely, if ever, in public, or appeared artfully wrapped in scarves and shawls.

The stars met on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines (2012), in which they played a couple with a baby.

Gosling is known for his roles in Drive (2011) and Crazy Stupid Love (2011). The actor - whose previous partners included actress Sandra Bullock - was shortlisted for an Academy Award for 2006's Half Nelson.

Gosling served up his highly anticipated directorial debut Lost River at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.
