(REUTERS) - Streaming activity kept Canadian R&B singer Drake on top of the weekly US Billboard 200 album chart on Monday (June 27) for an eighth consecutive week, holding off the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Drake's "Views" sold another 124,000 units in the week ended June 23, comprising album and song sales and more than 105 million streams, according to figures from Nielsen SoundScan.
The Billboard 200 album chart tallies units from album sales, song sales and streaming activity.
"The Getaway," the 11th studio album from California rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers, debuted at No. 2 on the chart with 118,000 units sold.
Beyonce's Lemonade climbed one slot to No. 3 with 49,000 units sold to round out the top three.
