Patrick Stewart applies for US citizenship
British star Patrick Stewart said he is finally applying for United States citizenship at age 76 to fight US President Donald Trump. The actor, a US resident for years, said on TV show The View on Thursday: "I'm not a citizen... maybe it's the only good result of this election - I am now applying for citizenship because I want to be an American, too.
"Because all of my friends in Washington said there is one thing you can do: Fight, fight. Oppose, oppose. But I can't do it because I'm not a citizen."
New Coldplay song to mark frontman's birthday
Coldplay have released a piano ballad to mark their frontman Chris Martin's 40th birthday.
Hypnotised, a "new non-single song", is the first track off an EP titled Kaleidoscope announced for June 2.
