SHANGHAI - Singaporean Chinese rock musical Liao Zhai Rocks! made its debut in China at the Shanghai International Musical Festival on March 28.
Jazz singer Joanna Dong, who played the role of a fox spirit, first watched a China-made Liaozhai television series in 1986 as a child. Now, she was bringing the same story from Singapore to China.
