Rotary Engineering secures $25 million contract to build lubricant plant

SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed oil and gas firm Rotary Engineering has secured a main construction contract worth $25 million from an oil major for the construction of its lubricant plant in Jurong.

This is the third lubricant project Rotary has undertaken, and is expected to be completed by April 2016, the company said in a statement on Monday.

The multi-disciplinary project spans work across the plant's production, storage and related facilities.

Mr Chia Kim Piow, Rotary's chairman and managing director, said: "This contract showcases Rotary's continuous move up the value chain that enables us to maintain our margins and sets us apart from our competitors."
