Market highlights

1 A unit of New Toyo will buy PT Bintang Pesona Jagat (BPJ) for 304 billion rupiah (S$32 million). BPJ will be the exclusive supplier of print supplies to the British American Tobacco group in Indonesia for six years from Jan 1.

2 SGX-listed offshore and marine player Gaylin Holdings expects to record a net loss for the second quarter ended Sept 30.

3 SGX-listed Yanlord Land sold all the 214 units launched on the first day of its latest apartment launch in Nanjing, Yanlord Yangtze Riverbay Town (Phase 4). The price was 45,000 yuan (S$9,200) per square metre.

4 A unit of San Teh is involved in legal action in Shanghai, including a dispute with eight tenants at San Teh Commercial Plaza over outstanding rentals and claim damages of about 3.9 million yuan (S$799,000).

5 Excluding two industrial Reits that listed earlier this year, the other seven such Reits here averaged a decline of 9.6 per cent in distribution per unit (DPU) for the quarter ended Sept 30, from a year earlier.
