Shin Min Arm Wrestling Challenge winner used to be laughed at in school
When he was in secondary school, Valen Low told his teachers and friends that he wanted to be an arm wrestling champion and was laughed at.
But now, the 20-year-old is having the last laugh.
Last Saturday, he became one of the younger competitors to win the top prize of $1,000 cash at the Shin Min Arm Wrestling Challenge held at Kovan Hub.
With the cash prize, Mr Low said he will be heading to Melbourne, Australia in March to compete in the FitX Invitational Armwrestling Cup.
