BANGKOK - As head of Thailand's second largest party in the coalition government, he has to be ready to take on the role of prime minister, said Bhumjaithai leader Anutin Charnvirakul.

"In our system, our party leader will have to be ready to take top office. The only condition is whether you have enough support from the people," said Mr Anutin when asked about whether he wanted the role as premier.
