660 new electric public buses to be rolled out progressively from end-2026: LTA

As at the end of 2024, there were 5,841 public buses in Singapore. LTA said that by 2030, electric buses will make up half of Singapore’s public bus fleet.

Nine still in hospital after Jurong West bus accident; all in stable condition

A total of 44 people were taken to hospital after a double-decker bus collided into another in Jurong West on Dec 14. Nine of them are still in hospital.

52 Tower Transit buses to be equipped with AEDs

AEDs will be installed on 52 buses covering service routes 78, 79 and 98, which serve routes around Jurong East, Clementi and Boon Lay.
