The Singapore Sports School (SSP) swept the Schools National B Division bowling titles at the Orchid Bowl on Thursday.

Their boys' team edged out Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) for the overall boys' title, despite winning one fewer category (quartet) than their rivals, who clinched the all-events and doubles competitions. Maris Stella High finished third.

It was a different story in the girls' competition, as SSP dominated in winning their third straight title. The gulf in class was apparent, as their bowlers finished in the top six in the all-events category, and won both the quartet and doubles events.

Only Methodist Girls' School's (MGS) Natalene Yuen managed to break their dominance by winning the singles competition. Her efforts helped MGS to second in the overall standings, followed by Raffles Girls' School.
