NBA: Nuggets silence Thunder in overtime, 121-118

DENVER, Colorado (AFP) - Corey Brewer scored 26 points and Danilo Gallinari added 18 Sunday as the Denver Nuggets halted Oklahoma City's six-game National Basketball Association winning streak with a 121-118 overtime triumph over the Thunder.

Kenneth Faried scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, his layup with less than a minute left in overtime giving the Nuggets the lead for good.

Wilson Chandler added a dozen points and Ty Lawson and Andre Miller scored 11 apiece for the Nuggets, who bounced back from a disappointing loss to the hapless Washington Wizards on Friday and avenged a 20-point loss to the Thunder last Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
