Fans hoping to catch a glimpse of superstars Neymar and Kaka in action will have to wait until Tuesday's game against Japan to see their favourite Brazilian stars show off their skills.

A few hundred tickets were given out to sponsors and selected fans for an open training session, scheduled for Monday, 4pm at the National Stadium. But the Brazil team decided that it will not open its training session to fans.

Organisers World Sport Group, in a statement on Monday afternoon, said it understands that the Brazil football team is taking its training session and Tuesday's match very seriously, and in view of that, has made the decision for Monday's training to be a closed-door session.

On Sunday, over 700 fans attended a Japan's closed-door training session at Bishan Stadium.

Tuesday's clash between the Asian champions and the five-time World Cup winners will kick-off at 6.45pm in front of a capacity 55,000 crowd.
